The Foxy Farewell - Sat 8th April

What an awesome night! Thanks to everyone that came along to the Foxy Farewell party last night and helped us raise nearly a thousand spondoolies towards the Greenland Quest…. so very much appreciated!

And the event was a cracker! Having experienced a relative absence from the social scene over the last 8 months, we foxes were re-introduced to our native habitat ‘the bar' and surprisingly were found to have no real problems reacclimatizing ourselves to the once-familiar surroundings. Our sensitive noses took us straight to the specially concocted ‘Foxy Lady' cocktail (Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm), which was indeed as sweet and sexy as it sounds. We then set about re-introducing ourselves to our friends, who having not seen nor heard from us since September, mostly accused us of having neglected them in favour of fostering an intimate relationship with a man named ‘Gym'….

With foxy cocktails in one hand, and krispy kreme donuts in t'other (don't ask…),  the dancefloor came alive to the sounds of the awesome ‘Too Many Egos' as foxes and foxy friends alike shook their tails to the beats. The pennies rolled in as Rachel's raffle ensued, with some fantastic prizes won by excited farewellers. However, unfortunately, not so much money was made on Felicity's big money-raising ‘sponsor a fox' initiative………. and I could only laugh at discovering that I'd been sold for the grand sum of 18pence! (it would have been alright had Rachel not gone for Ł50.....!! ha ha ha).

All in all it was a fantasic evening and we really are so grateful to all those of you who made the effort to come along and wish us a safe farewell. Can we also say a BIG thank you to….. Cameron from the Balls Brothers for providing a fantastic venue at the Hop Cellars at London Bridge, and to James for creating his usual magic with the lighting, and to the oh so funky ‘Too Many Egos' for being DJs for the night (www.toomanyegos.com). You rocked.
