Waitrose photoshoot & KMFM interview

On Monday afternoon, the Foxes had a 'shoot' in the chocolate aisle of Waitrose in Tonbridge, being pictured with the Departmental Manager of Tonbridge Waitrose, Glenn, and two of the many trolleys containing all the food donated by Waitrose to make up our expedition rations. The photos were for the local Courier newspaper and the Kent Messenger, so if you live in the Tonbridge area, be sure to pick yourself up a copy later this week!

Local Foxes Felicity and myself were also interviewed for KMFM, imparting gems of information about the upcoming expedition and our feelings about our record-making attempt. If you happen to hear us on the radio, would you mind recording it so that we can have a listen! Thanks!

We would like to say a HUGE thank you to Waitrose in Tonbridge for donating the vast majority of our rations, including 180 dried pasta meals; 120 packs of noodles; more malt loaf than you can shake a stick at; 360 bars of chocolate; 2kg sugar; 10 tubs dried milk powder; and lots more! Thanks especially to S

A">Can we also please thank Hamlyns for donating 12kg of oats for our morning porridge rations; Soreen for supplying more malt loaf (Mmmmmmmm.); Coco direct for donating all our hot chocolate; Hi5 for supplying all our carb and protein products; BioCare for donating all our supplements; and Energiser for supplying our Lithium batteries. Thanks also to Sainsbury's Tonbridge for donating £200 to our chosen charity Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
