Unlucky for some
Day 14 fell on the 13th May – unlucky for some – and in this case the ‘some' is the Foxes.  A late start meant the girls had to push hard to complete the required distance.  However, by around midday Jo's knee began to cause problems and in the circumstance the girls thought it best to stop and set up camp to allow Jo to rest her knee.

Then whilst out collecting snow they broke one of the snow bags. Not content with that they then broke a pan handle, and for the hat trick they decided to break a tent pole too.

With the vandalism out of their system they retired to bed ready for an early start the next day.

101km to go
After a good sleep the Foxes had an early start to the day (Day 15, 14th May).  Jo's knee was much better.

Despite ever-worsening conditions the Foxes managed 46.2 km aided by some good downhill sections.  However, the weather was generally poor with very low contrast

Where are they now?
Have they made it?  Well, the official answer is ‘we don't know'.  The Foxes didn't meet either of their call windows today so although there intention was to arrive on the east coast on Sunday evening, we can't currently confirm that they have.  As soon as we receive an update on this we will let you know.

The next few days…
The weather on the east coast of Greenland has continued to be poor with strong winds and low contrast.  The next stage is to get the food and fuel drop successfully to the girls while they rest and recuperate.  Then, it will be time to wait for a good weather window before setting off on their return leg, hopefully to break a world record.
