The Foxes are doing well and managed a fabulous 37km yesterday and except for a few aches and pains to in fine form and spirit.

Up until now they have enjoyed good weather but the wind has picked up of late and is forecast to reach 30 knots this weekend.  This would hamper their progress as it is not possible to assemble or disassemble their tents in such conditions which would mean they would be forced to sit tight until the wind subsides.  Therefore, they are pushing hard today to cover as much ground as possible before the weekend.  They hope to cover another 37km today.

Rachel isn't a happy Fox this morning – she's successfully stabbed her Thermarest (sleeping mattress) which will make sleeping a little less pleasant and her Walkman is refusing to charge which means a day without music.
