Thursday saw myself and Jenny taking a visit to the Cambrian Stores in deepest, darkest Wales to meet with the well-renowned Andy Woodward of Antarctica Tents - tentmaker/ expedition clothing maker/ harness maker/ and just about anything you like-maker, to Polar legends such as Pen Hadow (amongst others). Entering Andy's stores and factory with only a diagram and a few ideas in hand, we emerged a glorious 10 hours later with 4 beautifully designed, hand-crafted, bespoke harnesses which can be adapted for use on both the (wo)man-hauling and kiting legs of our trip. They're just so darn comfortable that I wore mine for most of the day when it was finished!
