Dame Kelly Holmes supports the Foxes!

"When I heard about the Arctic Foxes expedition I really wanted to offer my support.

In August 2004 I achieved my dream of becoming Olympic Champion, not once, but twice. Being 1 of only 3 women to ever achieve a middle distance double at the Olympics I made sporting history for Great Britain and this is what the Arctic Foxes are trying to do. They aim to be the first all female British team to cross the Greenland ice-cap and while this in itself is a huge challenge, both mentally and physically, they are attempting the world speed record for a single crossing!!!

I really admire the strength, courage and determination these girls are demonstrating - juggling full-time jobs, training and arranging the expedition is by no means an easy task.

Therefore, like you did for me, please get behind the Arctic Foxes offering your support in whatever way you can and help them to make history for Great Britain."
